Following up on the project completed in 2006, PCS General Contractors was awarded the $280,000 South Campus Glazing Replacement project at Nortel facility on Carling Avenue.

The project involves the replacement of 213 units of Visionwall Glazing ranging in size from 24” x 120” to 60” x 120”. Unit locations varied from ground floor units, to units 40 feet above grade.

Close co-ordination with BLJC (Brookfield, Lepage, Johnson Controls) and the Nortel operations personnel resulted in minimal disruptions to occupants and users of the space. Various equipment was used including Zoom Booms, Scissor lifts and scaffolding to perform the work safely and efficiently.
