This project was awarded to Capital Air Conditioning Ltd. to convert
the existing steam heating system to a new hot water heating system
as well as add new air conditioning and ventilation to allow the
school to be used in the summer months. The cost of this upgrade
was approximately $2,000,000.00 of which we had a contract for $100,000.00
to perform the civil portion of the project that included core drilling
for new hot water heating plumbing. Creating holes in the block
walls to allow new ventilation ductwork to pass through, painting
the new exposed ductwork and patching and painting the original
steam convectors in the classrooms. We also took care of the structural
steel modifications required to support the new roof top units.
