PCS
was awarded the Construction Management for the
amalgamation of the client services for the Municipal, Provincial
and Federal Governments at 110 Laurier ground floor.
We will be managing the renovation and alteration work at this site
while the existing client services for the City of Ottawa remain
operational. The scope of work includes budgeting, tendering, contract
awarding, scheduling and construction supervision. We will oversee
all aspects of the construction including demolition, drywall, millwork,
flooring, fireproofing, painting, glazing, security, HVAC, plumbing,
and electrical.
PCS will be responsible to compile and maintain a tight
construction schedule. The original schedule and milestones
will be set using preliminary drawings and be updated as the drawings
are refined. Our managers will provide construction input to assist
the architect and engineers to stays within budget and within the
scheduled time frame.
As the project progressed, PCS was given additional responsibilities
which raised the contract from $400,000 to $950,000.
