PCS
was awarded the fit-up of the new OC Transpo Uniform Store located
on Belfast Street in Ottawa. The scope of the project required PCS
to transform the one time refrigerated warehouse storage space (built
in the 1920’s) into a new clothing distribution center for the
various departments of the City of Ottawa. The project included demolition
of the existing refrigerator walls (made of wood and cork), and parts
of the existing structure to allow for a new expansion of the facility.
The new work included new foundations, structural steel, drywall,
ceramic tiles, EFIS system, millwork, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing
works. |
