This
lump sum bid project consisted of renovating a 1,950 sq.ft. florist
teaching space into a new teachers resource center. The entire project
was undertaken while the space around the construction site remained
in full operation. The work was completed in 6 weeks, prior to the
start of the fall semester. The work touched many aspects of the
building including drywall partitions, architectural finishes, HVAC,
electrical and security. The most difficult portion of the work
included the freeze cutting and taping of the 2 - ¾” copper plumbing
lines as the service could not be interrupted. All aspects were
completed without any disruption to the client.
